Looking for a hard shell case to protect your Treo? Check out Javoedge's JAVOShield case, a lightweight anodized aircraft grade aluminum case that not only protects your Treo but also helps complement the overall look with its sleek shiny polished finish.
The JAVOShield case that I'm reviewing will fit the Treo 750/750v, 680, 755p models and it looks like it is currently unavailable for those models at the moment. Stay tuned for an upcoming giveaway as it may be one of the few places you can get it (and for free)! Also, the JAVOShield case has a very shiny polished finish which I think really makes it look very nice and different, unlike many other cases that has the matte brushed finish.

Product Description
JAVOShield by JAVOedge is a rugged form fitting aluminum metal case that is designed to take harsh daily punishment.
It is made out of aircraft grade aluminum to provide the best of both worlds, a high level of protection and light enough to travel. Neoprene foam lining cushions your device inside the case preventing small bump and scratch damage. The clear plexiglass window protects your screen from scratches and light impact.

Here are my observations: I am very impressed with the very polished and shiny look of this JAVOShield case and definitely prefer this finish compared to the brushed matte finish found on other aluminum cases mainly because it feels very smooth to the touch. The case is lightweight which is very nice if you've ever carried or used other metal cases that may be heavier and will likely welcome the shedding that extra weight. The door hinge is very solid and snaps securely in. I actually found that it takes a slight bit more of a push to snap the flap in, which can be good or bad, depending on your perspective. As mentioned in previous reviews of similar aluminum cases with a hinged door, I'd suggest finding a way to prevent the inner rod in the door hinge from falling out as it may do so over time. I personally use an elastic band to wrap around the hinge and it worked very well on my Innopocket Deluxe Metal case as I've noted in this review.
The transparent plexiglass window is a very nice feature of the case as it protects the delicate Treo screen from accidentally tapped or scratched while inside a bag or pocket.
The neoprene lining found all around the inside of the case does a great job of cushioning the Treo inside the case to absorb mild shocks due to accidental drops, bumps, etc.
Also, as noted in previous reviews, having a book style case, you may find that texting on the Treo may be a bit of a hindrance as the right hand may need to be adjusted to compensate for the door flap getting in the way. It really all depends on how often you text on the Treo with the case and whether you may prefer to remove the Treo when texting. As well, with the case closed, you are limited in accessing various areas of the Treo like the screen, QWERTY keys and will need to open it up before being able to access them. You may need to decide on what's more important: protection or accessibility.
JAVOEdge's JAVOShield case is a very impressive and stylish looking lightweight aluminum case that not only looks great, but does a great job of keeping the Treo protected from accidental drops and bumps. The neoprene lining all along the inside helps absorb any shock due to such accidental mishaps, while keeping the Treo snugly inside the case. The book style flap keeps the Treo well protected when it's closed, only exposing the hardware keys to allow you to answer a call with ease. The plexiglass window allows you to still see and view the Treo screen and in combination with the cut outs for the hardware buttons, you may still be able to navigate around the Treo with the directional and hardware keys without opening up the flap.
