It's that time of the year when most of us are so busy with shopping lists, Christmas gifts, holiday shopping and everything else that we tend to forget about others that may need our help. By that, I mean others all over the world, the children from other countries that could greatly benefit from even a small donation.
Every year around this time, I am going to tally up the money I receive from proceeds of affiliate accounts, calculate the fees that I will have to pay for next year plus other possible expenses for giveaway contests and other costs and will make a donation to Plan Canada in Palm Discovery's name.
Last year, $20 was donated to Plan Canada and purchased a bee keeping kit for a family in Egypt. This year, thanks to your generous support, Palm Discovery has donated $85 to purchase the following gifts:
- a Birth Registration for a child in Sudan
- pigs for a family in China
- clean water for a child in Benin
WOW! You have helped made a difference to others all over the world simply by supporting Palm Discovery. Again, these are not huge donations but Palm Discovery isn't a big or popular website, and it's still much better than not making any donation. I am only glad to have done this on behalf of all Palm Discovery readers and supporters. Thanks, everyone!.
